Rod joined the St Laurence House Committee in November 2019.

He has a long and distinguished career in financial services as Chief Executive or Managing Director of organisations that offered various forms of lease finance. This included several years in India running the finance company of ANZ Bank.

Since retiring from full time employment, Rod has been involved with charities in inner Sydney working with organisations that seek to empower disadvantaged and marginalised people including with Stolen Generations Aboriginal men. He has also served on the Board of a residential aged care group.

Rod has an Arts degree, an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Pure Mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
