SLH Youth Services is dedicated to teaching the essential life skills necessary for a better, ongoing quality of life to disadvantaged,
at-risk youth.
Who we are
SLH Youth Services has provided accommodation, support and care to homeless young people for more than 40 years, since we were established in 1978.
Our programs are run in accordance with the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) Program, regulated by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.
Over the years, we have evolved from existing as a drop-in centre/crisis refuge to a long-term residential service, supported 7 days, a second semi-supported unit, and an outreach program to assist young people in maintaining their tenancies.
At SLH Youth Services, we are experts in working with young people who have experienced trauma, grief and loss. We teach our young people to be independent and self-sufficient so they can open the door to productive lives, free of welfare assistance.
