Child Safe Framework

SLH Youth Services is a child safe organisation that is committed to building and maintaining child safe environments which are inclusive, transparent and promote the participation of children and young people.

• Our programs support active participation of young people and the broader community, providing opportunity for participants to provide feedback and/or raise concerns.
• Our recruitment process is rigorous and includes multiple levels of screening to ensure that our staff are of the highest standard and understand the importance of child safety and child protection. All staff have current and verified Working with Children Checks and Police Checks.
• Our suite of operating policies include all legislative and regulatory aspects of child protection and safeguarding of children.
• Our staff receive ongoing training in child safety practices and policies, regular supervision and clinical supervision to ensure consistency in child safe service delivery.
