There are many ways you can support us, whether it’s through a donation, sponsoring a child, making a bequest. or volunteering your time or good.

Your donation will help transform the lives of the at-risk young people in our care. Thank you for your help and support. Every dollar counts.

We rely on donations to cover 50% of the costs associated with our accommodation, support, and living skills programs. Without your generosity we wouldn’t be able to provide such a high level of support to vulnerable young people in need.

Every day, we see the benefits of our unique medium-term approach in helping young people build the necessary skills to stay off welfare for life. However, as government funding is based on turnover, we are underfunded compared to other short-term crisis services.

A four-bedroom short-term crisis refuge is granted over half a million dollars more than St Laurence House each year.

Additionally, our extended programs – the semi-supported units for two young people and the STAY intensive living skills program – are entirely funded by donations.

Sponsor

It costs $150,000 per year to maintain one child with support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in our house.

You can sponsor a young person for one year, giving them a chance for a better future.

Volunteer

Like most homes, there is always upkeep or something that needs to be repaired or replaced. Whether it’s gardening, tidying, or administrative work, we value your contribution. Please register your interest below and we’ll be in touch.

Are you a trade or business with leftover supplies or materials? Are you moving to a new house and changing furniture? Have you an oversupply of household essentials?
